The 100 Day Drawing Project

In April 2026, I had emergency surgery (thankfully all is healthy and happy).

I was immediately required to slow down.

In moments by myself, I felt at peace moving at this new pace — purging my calendar, projects, and to-dos to create space for self-nurturing and nourishing.

Then friends shared exciting life updates. I saw creators doing all of the things on social media. My conditioning got set off - perhaps I don’t have to take my foot off the gas. I can ramp up and move full speed ahead.

I do find fulfillment through achievement (I’m a Capricorn moon, what can I say?) — no matter how far I attempt to run away from it. I’ve learned to accept that.

So I decided to do a 100 day drawing project as a ‘meet in the middle’ harmony that honors the ambitious part of me while honoring a gentler season of life. It also gave me an anchor to ground myself to.
