Dreaming to Doing is the space where you birth your dream into the world.
Do you have a vision that has been living rent-free in your mind?
Do you have a dream that visits you nightly in your dreams?
Maybe you have a clear idea that you’ve shared with people but haven’t found time or energy to take action on.
Maybe your dream is the elephant in the room that quietly and persistently follows you around but you haven’t found the courage to share.
Hi, my name is Stephanie and allow me to be your Dream Doula. Let me help you cross the bridge to the first steps of your dream.
To awaken your sleeping dreams, you need a little self-compassion, clarity, boundaries, and cup filling.
With them, you might just be surprised by your motivation to take audacious + courageous action.
Dreaming to Doing is daunting
The first step from dreaming to doing is the toughest. There are so many things to think about, consider, and prepare. “How can I do this? How will I ever be ready?” you think to yourself.
What stops you from taking action?
There are too many thoughts.
Walking into your mind can feel like an episode of Hoarders.
You don’t know where to start. You’re overwhelmed.
There are too many meetings, volunteer commitments, kids activities, social gatherings, and the list goes on.
The next availability on your calendar is 9 months from now.
You don’t have time. You’re too busy.
There are too many discouraging what-ifs marching across your mind.
What if I fail? What if I’m mocked and laughed at?
You’re hard on yourself. You don’t believe in yourself.
There are too many responsibilities draining your energy.
Everyone needs something from you…NOW. At the end of the night, the couch and Instagram call your name.
You are exhausted. You have nothing left to give.
Now what?
The thoughts keep flowing.
The calendar stays busy.
The self continues doubting.
The responsibilities still need your attention.
One night as you are scrolling through your feed, you see a friend’s post announcing the birth of an idea she’s had for years. She’s smiling, full of energy and excitement. Immediately, you feel the jealousy gremlin creep up behind you. “Ugh how cringe!” as a harsh laugh leaves your mouth.
You keep scrolling and a thought bubbles, “You also have a dream that’s been brewing for years. Why can’t you be courageous? Why can’t you just take action?! You are such a loser.”
You turn the volume down on the thought and continue to scroll, numbing yourself from the sadness.
What if I told you that inviting your dream into this picture is possible?
With encouraging support, compassionate accountability, and a nurturing structure that meets you where you are, you WILL birth your dream.
Welcome to Dreaming to Doing - a bridge between ideating and action-taking.
The Four Foundations of Dreaming to Doing
After working with clients, talking to friends, and reflecting on my own experience, I identified four themes conducive to action taking:
Self-Compassion: it’s the companion holding your hand as you take the first step. This looks like meeting yourself where you are. How are you speaking to yourself? How are you treating yourself? When it’s lacking, self-doubt takes over triggering overthinking, procrastination and possibly avoidance.
Clarity: What do you want? Who do you want to become? Why? What path are you willing to walk to get there? It’s difficult to take the first step if you don’t know where you are going. When it’s lacking, you might feel overwhelmed and confused over where to start.
Boundaries: Fences might need to be built to minimize what you don’t want and create space for the things you do want. This looks like protecting your space and energy physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. When it’s lacking, every block on your calendar is spoken for and the next availability is in 6 months. You have no time
Cup Filling: after you do something fun and enjoyable, how do you feel after? How about after a long day at work doing something you have no interest in? Filling our cup is how we fuel up our energy. This is what keeps momentum going. When it’s lacking, you are exhausted with nothing left to give so you end up mindlessly scrolling on your phone.
Strengthening each pillar helps build a solid foundation that makes action not only possible but most importantly sustainable.
Who is this For?
This is for anyone with an idea who is also battling self doubt and an encyclopedia of excuses. Someone who is tired of feeling this way and ready to take action
The Structure
In our month-long container, we will identify which area needs the most love and care and how to maximize each to get you from dreaming to doing.
By the end of our time together, you will experience:
clarity for what your dream looks like and why it’s important to you
a plan of what action steps need to be taken
belief and trust in yourself
a defined first step
How we’re going to get there:
There will be (4) 45 minute 1:1 coaching calls and Monday to Friday Whatsapp support.
During our calls, we will spend time in exploration and reflection. You will walk away with at least one small action to integrate in between our calls to move you forward. Each week will build on the last.

Why I Hold this Space
When I was 40 weeks pregnant with my eldest daughter, I got Bell’s Palsy. Looking back, I believe it was triggered by stress and burnout. This was a life-changing turning point. I didn’t know who I was, who I wanted to be or what I wanted to do. In June 2021, I made the decision to leave my corporate marketing career to embark on a journey to discover who I was, what I wanted to do, and who I wanted to become.
Over the last five years, I became a Coach and started a business. I learned how to draw digitally. Then turned those drawings into tote bags, stickers, and agendas. I learned how to crochet and sold my creations at markets and online. I started to write again and published my words on Substack. I started the Liberal Moms Craft Club with my friend Lauren.
Prior to coaching, I worked for C Space, Bloomingdale’s, Fitzgerald + Co., The Home Depot, Babson College’s Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab and Hasbro. I have experience in brand launches, brand and marketing strategy, marketing and advertising campaign management, and cross-functional team management. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Boston University and Master’s in Business Administration from Babson College. I am a certified Coach through Corporate Coach Training.
I am your guide because I have lived the Dreaming to Doing philosophy. And continue to live by it each day.
First and foremost, I am your ally. I provide a safe space to explore your dreams, goals, and possibilities. My mission is to help you move forward with them through a fun, insightful, and transformational experience. I won’t shy away from challenging you into your stretch zone. I may offer tools and resources, like mindfulness techniques and reflection questions, if I think they might be helpful but everything is always offered with an open hand. Take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.
YOU are the expert and master of your life. The answers exist within you. My role is to guide you to them.
My only ask is that you keep an open heart and mind throughout the process. May you find clarity for the person you want to become and the path you want to take. And always remember the magic and power that lives within you!
I’m here with you.
FAQs
“I don’t have time.”
There will always be something. Part of the coaching experience is to learn and practice prioritizing yourself - remembering that you are important. You deserve the time and space for YOU.
“I’m too tired.”
You have to want and be ready for change. This might look like looking at your to-do list and doing some rearranging to create this time and space for yourself. And if that’s not available in this season, THAT IS OKAY. Remember, seasons change :)
“I should figure this out myself.”
The overwhelming feedback I receive from clients: thank you for holding space for me while I talk out my thoughts. I was able to get organized and clear. You helped me get out of my head. Sometimes you can’t see the path when you’re sitting in a room alone.
You do not have to figure it out alone. Vocalizing is a way for your mind to sort through the thoughts. A Coach comes in to ask powerful, thought-provoking questions and mirror back reflections.
“What if I don’t follow through?”
The beauty of having a Coach is having someone who is focused on YOU. They will check-in on how you’re doing and gently nudge you to put one foot in front of another. There is space for you to investigate and explore the roadblocks that might be preventing you from following through.
Parting Words
Take a moment in a place of privacy like the car or the bathroom (I have two littles. I understand it’s a rare commodity 😜), put on your favorite song, and fast forward 6 months from now. It’s Sunday night. You’ve birthed your dream into the world and have been taking action on it, nurturing it. What are you doing? How are you feeling?
You are a brilliant being full of magic. Magic the world needs.
My wish to you is that you find the courage to awaken your sleeping dream and the audacity to birth it into the world. Bet on yourself. I believe in you.
